This extensive project involved both extending and renovating the house to create additional living and ancillary areas. The property’s plot slopes towards the rear garden, which enabled the floor at the back of the ground floor—where the open-plan living, dining, and kitchen areas are situated—to be lowered. This clever adjustment resulted in increased ceiling height and made it possible to install an upper-level window above the flat roof, introducing direct natural light into the kitchen.
Upstairs, extensions to the side and rear transformed a previously small box room into a spacious master bedroom complete with an en-suite and walk-in closet. A similar approach was taken on the loft level, further enhancing the home’s functionality and comfort.
